Constantly we hear this thing about "oh, it's out of context". There is a sort of chopped up version of the bible that feeds it to the reader in digestible daily chunks with a bit of supporting babble, they obviously sell well, so why aren't the buyers stopping short and saying "oh, but that's out of context, I can't buy that!!!" (?) :huh:

Context often follows the following rule:
If I like it, context is irrelevant, while if I don't like it, it is quoted out of context. Just like: If I like it, it's literal, while if I don't like it, it's allegorical. |
