Now that one depends--on what you truly want and if his ideas are reality dependent.

Then believe, but be forewarned that the moment you fail to state that it's no more than belief and actually pawn it off as a claim for all to act on, then be prepared.

It doesn't make me a bad person for that.
A lighter in one hand and gasoline in the other standing outside someone's house doesn't make me an arsonist either, but it won't take much on my part to cross the line will it.

Please don't judge me because I don't have a regular [idea] of God.
Why? We all collectively sit in judgment of ourselves.

Doing a redearch on god is even worse than a research on UFO's . At least with UFO's people can claim that they ' ve seen one or even that they ' ve been abducted in one . As for god , doesn't it says in the bible that you cannot see god 's face and live !!!

Now let me get this straight.
You can laugh at my ideas, but yours are above comment.
You have the right to believe whatever you want but I have no right to express my beliefs.

Seems a trifle one sided.

I should write a survey on that.
And criticism is alright only so long as it supports your opinions.

Unless, of course, it's you being critical of others

You missed the point. I was not talking about you only and not about me only, but of course you felt I was targetting you personally. That's funny.

Less petty bickering, please (this goes for everyone). It's hardly topical nor is it productive.

In any case, I am sorry if I have caused problems to the forum. It was not my intention. Criticism is great when it is constructive, not when it seeks to destroy people's opinions.
I should write a survey on that.
If you're going to write non-fiction, why not write something that helps people and the world? Promoting any kind of god belief does not help, no matter how liberal it is.

Default I'll stop here

Hello all,
Thank you very much to all the people who took the time to answer my questions and make this debate interesting.
Please don't take it the wrong way but some people here have absolutely no respect of other people's beliefs. That's the reason why I will stop bothering you with my questionnaire and my questions.
I am sorry if my quest caused any trouble to you, but I don't want to be insulted by people under the pretext that they don't believe what I am doing. It's one thing not to agree with what people do, it's another thing to slight them.
Some people may not believe it, but you can help people by helping yourself first. And also, helping others doesn't imply giving money or do something physically speaking. You missed the point, and that's too bad.
Take care guys and thanks again.

Then you had better work on those communication skills of yours before you try to get a book published.
What other beliefs, other than religion, is criticism on destructive.
Let's say you thought that San Francisco was the capital of California. Is it your "right" to believe that or would it be okay for someone to correct you?
