I used to laugh at those beliefs (inwardly, because fellow members of the Lutheran Evangelical Church of Sweden would just ignore the RCC, and I didn't even know where to find a Catholic person).

A great help (among several other factors, of course) in my leaving the faith was when I, deeply shocked, understood that I was supposed to believe, not that the bread and wine were transubstantiated, but that there were blood and meat molecules between the wine and bread ones, respectively. To a chemical engineer, that was almost worse. No mistake about it; the consubstantiation was very clearly and repeatedly stated in the symbolic books.

I think that Lazarus was perhaps a zombie type of vampire with no self control. But Jesus managed to retain control of his mind without going insane and set up a church to proivide him with unending supply of blood. in return he promised the same immortality to the head honchos running it. :grin:

Not to mention when the Armageddon comes, the followers of Jesus will survive and those who don't will perish and the rivers will run with blood. Sounds like a vampire feeding frenzy to me.

Another suspicious thing: The Jews were told to bleed animals before eating them. I bet this was because some of them were vampires and they needed an excuse as to why the animals they hunted and were bringing back had no blood in them. And they would cut the throat to conceal the teeth marks, while claiming it to be some kind of ritual.

And their constant blood sacrifices supposedly to their god? Vampires for sure.

I mean they are obsessed with blood. That plagues of Egypt thing where the very first one is the Nile turning to blood is probably some kind of vampire wet dream. Or maybe JHWH is like the blood god as shown on the movie Blade and he could actually do that.

Why did the Jews not complain when all the water in Egypt turned to blood? The first plagues effected Jew and Egyptian alike. Didn't hear them complaining.

When the "angel of death" took every first born in Egypt, it was at night, unless you put blood on your door to appease him. :worried:
