Yeah, of course. I see it too and I'm black. It's just a power thing. Whites pretty much rule a big chunk of civilization. Majority Pride is not as accepted as Minority Pride. Probably because it's not terribly threatening to everybody else for a minority group to get a bit uppity, whereas if you guys get too proud, it makes the rest of us kind of nervous that somewhere down the line we might start getting thrown into ovens, or something like that. It's a similar situation with feminism versus masculinism, I guess.

The double standards don't bother me all that much, even though in the case of gender I'm on the wrong side of the double standard. I don't really think highly of the whole Group Pride phenomenon, but as long as it's mainly manifested as Minority Pride, then it's not too scary... at least, not unless the minority happens to be a group of radical militants with WMDs, but we're not facing that situation in the US.
