I heard that Pat Robertson doesn't support Literal-Genesis Creationism, though -- and that Fallwell didn't like that. But I don't know if that's true.
I was in America watching the 700 club and Pat Robertson was speaking about the Palestinian problem and he mentioned a discussion between him and Hanan Ashrawi (a Palestinian Christian lady) and how she is ignorant and stupid and told him that god is not in real estate business and he didn't sign any contract with anybody regarding Palestine and all of a sudden he started to show maps of god plans for the ME and how god is in real estate business but the bitch Hanan try to ignore it and all that crap.

I don't know a lot about Falwell and his opinion about creationism but i can believe any thing about the guy.

If you are interested in comic shows, i advice you to watch a guy called something Dollar (i think it is Clifton or Clift) on sunday, believe me he will make your day.

Does anyone have any good examples of hateful comments by Falwell? He had one back in 2001 about Islam being a religion of Satan, but anything since then?

Well, I heard that he said what happened on 9/11 was God's punishment on America for being immoral (i.e. tolerating homosexuality, abortion, and feminism). Yeah, I'm sure God told Fallwell that straight from the 'prayer hotline' about his intentions . Later he apologized . . . but only for the 'timing' of his message being 'too soon' after the attacks!

Yes. Phelps is definately a psychopath with a homophobic, delusional, sociopathic personality. When I first heard that he was for real, I couldn't believe it . I mean, I've heard some pretty messed-up things in my life coming from fundaMENTALists, but he is VERY extreme!

It's Creflo Dollar. No, I've never watched him for very long, just see him sometimes for a few seconds while flipping through the channels. I call him 'Creepy Dollar'. :rolling:

For a list of quotations by Falwell, Roberts, Swaggert, Phelps, and other colorful characters, see this link:

I know only Pat Robertson, I don't know whether I must laugh or weep but I am more than happy that it doesn't exist over here.

Yeah, it's true. Robertson pissed off a bunch of YEC'ers a while back. See:

http://www.answersingenesis.org/docs...9Robertson.asp

For some truly great information on evolutionary science, be sure to study the rest of their site. Verily, the greatest minds in science are all young earth creationists.

Jim Dobbins pissed them off, too, when he interviewed Hugh Ross, of Reasons to Believe. Actually, I see YEC'ers as a bigger enemy of Christianity / religious belief than atheists. They show just how stupid one can be if one adopts magical thinking and a tautological mindset. Non-literalists, such as Robertson and Ross, are embarrassed by them. Go AiG, go!

Which one blamed the 9/11 tragedy on Atheists? That's pretty sick and stupid IMHO.
