Despite the opening sentence, this paragraph supports the belief that Islam does not, after all, improve the quality of life. This paragraph admits that Islam is no better than the rest of the world when it comes to improving the quality of life.

What were you trying to say?

We can wrap them in multiple layers of clothing too.... so that men (being the beasts we are) won't be tempted by their womanly bodies.... which I shouldn't even be talking about cuz it might give men ideas....
This is the problem with the Western audience. They automatically assume things. Did I say they should be placed in harems...NO....Did I say women should be covered up ..."judaeo-islamic style" ....NO.......I just dont believe in either extremes.....

I am saying that to a large degree it is open to interpretation.....It is pretty @#$% up that Iran forces its women to wear the Hijab.

And it is also pretty @#$% up that Turkey forces women to abandon the Hijab.

It is a woman's choice...and there should be no compulsion in religion.

hello river,

"3) They believe that Islam does not improve the quality of life. They believe Islam oppresses women, when in actuality the oppression of woman is unfortunately universal. In the west women are exploited and marketed as "sexual"...and in the East they are second class....This is not a problem found in Islam but the world."

so obviously Islam does not manage to stop the oppression either

"5) Islam is the fastest growing religion ( and Ideology) in the world . Even if they don't convert to Islam , the chances are high that their descendents will. It is G-d's Will and the Qur'an says that Islam will become the predominant World Faith. The U.N predicts that 45% of the Worlds population will be Muslim by 2050. Samuel Huntington predicts that 33% of the World's population will be Muslim by 2020."

I guess it has a lot to do with mere outreproducing. it can be observed in the Middle East and all of North Africa. Muslim families simply tend to comprise a lot more children than Western ones (which in turn has to do with the fact that women are expected to stay home and raise the kids - boys if possible). so one cannot say that world population as such converts to Islam, I certainly won't because I have read the Koran and found nothing inspiring in it whatsoever. I don't like mass phenomena in general, I prefer individuality

regards

Why do you think Christianity and Judaism are so diluted today. Why is Jesus Christ depicted mockingly in South Park and most form of media....It is due to Secularisation. I really doubt that those two Abrahamic religions exist a hundred years from now. There is no way in hell that Islam will also be Secularised.

Apparently Muslims breed like rabbits in both literate and illiterate societies and the U.S. It is Divine Will.

I agree that the Muslims are outreproducing everything else. However, I think it is pretty dimwited that the Western world has subconsciously applied something like the "one-child" policy . They think that it is "intellectual" ...it is dumb...more than 1/2 of Europe is dangerously below replacement levels. If they don't change their "superior" thinking they will unwittingly go extinct.

Quality over quantity.... we've realized that our lives and those of our children are better when we don't try to spread limited resources among 15 children.

As muslims actually gain exposure to other cultures, they realize that this is in fact beneficial... along with other social advancements. (Such as 'gee.... maybe I shouldn't subject my wife to being pregnant every other year just so that I can get my rocks off... if I don't maybe she'll live longer...')
