Thank Odin!

I thought I was going to have to get 'saved' just to shut him up!

Sounds rather similar to my experience when I was initiated into Transcendental Meditation.

Which I suspect have a lot of ...looks for word.... commonality with converts to Islam, people who convert to Scientology, people who devote their lives to the Hare Krishna movement, Moonies....... Heaven's Gate.

Just sayin'.

What evidence is there that Peter, James and John all actually died a martyr's death? The church fathers would have us believe they died martyr's deaths because it strengthens their hold on the flock they like to regularly fleece
What evidence is there that this death was specifically because they believed Jesus arose from the death. They might have been killed for other reasons if they were killed.
How do we know they didn't recant and get killed anyways?

Not to worry, after his/her 2 week vacation bible school is completed, he/she can come back and you can hold his/her hand to your hearts content. Hopefully he'll/she'll play by the forum rules by then.

I realize Biblo is no longer around but he wouldn't have addressed my point anyway so here goes.

It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age, if they fall away, to be brought back to repentance, because to their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace.
Hebrews 6:4-6 NIV

If it was not possible to fall away why would the writer of Hebrews include this?

You forgot the browbeating.

Brain batteries were exceptionally low. Needed a charge.

Biblo had 171 posts in the two days he was a member. That seems excessive. Maybe he is a meth head.

In his profile under interests he listed jogging.

I guess he has more time now to concentrate on training for a ultramarathon.
