My psyche is now permanently scarred from the sheer stupidity of this post. Just read the OP...

It may seem stupid, but sometimes when people ask these kind of questions, they're really looking for an answer. I don't know how old the poster is, or the level of his/her education, but the possibility of sincerity is there, so those people are not helping the poster with mean replies.

Here's to hoping it's a baby step to enlightenment,

The responses were significantly less mean than I expected, given the rank idiocy of the question.

I tried to count the ways that one little question was making my brain bleed, but it hurt too much to go on.

Well cant help that some people think all the answers to lifes questions are in the Bible. They may have been raised that way and just don't know any better.

But if that poster is 30 they should do research to find the origin of the word.
But That maybe too much for the poster to handle.

How do we get woman from man? Maybe by adding "Wo" on to "man".

I have a question for those who believe in the God of the Bible. If we were created as God said we were in the Bible, then why don't we use the word, "ribman"?

Er, we do use the word ribman. Me, I like mine with a spicy sauce, slow grilled on a hot afternoon with a good rootbeer to wash them down. Or do you mean the other kind of ribman? You know, the ones that are always looking at women's ribs? Or maybe you mean a guy who likes to rib (tease) people? You know, now that I think about it, I am the personification of the Ribman Trifecta!
