If Jesus is god, sort of, he is omniscient, right?

Therefore, Jesus knew exactly what he was getting himself into when he chose Judas as an apostle, and Judas was in essence just pawn in Jesus' plan. In a way, Jesus comitted suicide.

So class, what have we learned today?

God Himself died as a human for others, even though He didn't have to.

It stikes me that Judas was far more important than a mere pawn, more like a bishop

The character Judas played a very necassary part in the tale so I have no idea why he gets such a bad press. I suspect Judas is sitting within God's head patting range in heaven
