Today I decide to head over to the local Goodwill store, mainly because I could use a few cheap tank tops for some printing experiments.

Now, I usually just pass on by the shoe section, because for some reason wearing used shoes kinda skeeves me out. But, today something caught my eye. I closed in on an innocent pair of sandals. They had yellow stitching around the sole. Could it be? OH MY GOD!!! I yelled (to myself, I didn't want to call attention to those sandals). They were genuine Dr. Martens sandals. I picked up said sandals, hoping beyond hope they were in decent condition. Not only were they in decent condition, they looked like they were hardly worn! The next step was trying them on. This was too good to be true, they won't fit, my hopes would be dashed. Happily, I was wrong again. They fit perfectly!

I had an orgasm right there, in the Goodwill store.

$4.00 for a pair of perfect Dr. Marten sandals. I can die happy now.

Awesome story. I've never heard anyone call them "Dr." Martens, always "Doc". Weird. =P
