Default Ronald Reagan is roasting in Hell!!! - Fred Phelps

http://www.godhatesamerica.com/

Phelps claims that he was going to picket the funeral. Did he? I didn't watch the whole thing, but what I did see, I did not see any anti-reagan picketers at all.

Well a quick google search shows he did indeed:

http://www.newsday.com/news/nationwo...news-headlines

Quote:

A small but fervent group of protesters held signs denouncing Reagan for not condemning homosexuality. "All the expressions of the world are insisting he is in heaven," declared Margie Phelps, 47, who said she was with the Westboro Baptist Church of Topeka, Kan. "It's too late. He's not in heaven and someone has to say that."

As the group shouted slogans and sang anti-gay anthems to familiar patriotic melodies, a little girl asked a woman on the street what was going on. "In America, people can say what they want," answered Jean Kelley, 62, of Washington. The child considered the idea but insisted what the protesters were yelling wasn't so nice. "A civics lesson," said Kelley.

What a fucking dick.

Nice casual dismissal of non-believers and those whose beliefs do not include a heaven.

I'm somewhat disappointed not to have seen Phelps subjected to a hail of SS bullets.

Reagan not condemning homsexuals? This is the man who was prepared to let them all die of AIDS (only acting when it became clear that HIV was in the general populace to)

Phelps surely regards this as an overly moderate and passive approach: anything short of enacting the death penalty for homosexuality isn't enough for him.

(I think Phelps is also unhappy about Reagan remarrying.)

Good point, merely standing back and watching the homos die is not extreme enough for Phelps.
