How DO you pronounce "proselytize" and "proselytization"? It's such a hugely popular word here (with damn good reason), but I haven't a clue, and I'm too lazy to look it up.

Just break up indubitably. Indooba. Tubly. I always have trouble with "surreptitiously," I add a consonant - sur-rep-e-tish-ous-ly. |

Heh. Spell check wants to change GoodLittleAtheist to 'Gladliest'. (Hmmm...is that even a word?) |

Unless I concentrate, I pronounce "pen" as "pin".

I would say "mah-CAHBr" with the 'r' there, but just and no ending vowel.

my freshman year of college, a girl gave a ten minute presentation on audiology. the poor girl pronounced it audio-ology throughout the presentation.
a friend of mine pronounces "quirky" as "corky" - had the worst time figuring out what she was trying to say. "larnyx" for larynx drives my nuts, mostly when it is a professional pronouncing it incorrectly. i can't think of my trouble word at the moment... |
