And I never said that no egalitarian matriarchal culture existed. I merely stated that there is no reason to believe it existed. If you can give me a reason for believing it existed besides some tat about 'goddess' figures (which prove nothing - they could be anything from children's toys to the ancient equivalent of pornography) or some wishy washy rubbish about intuitiveness then I will reconsider that statement.

no it isn't 'wnoderfull' that's why i feel oppressed...like i keep saying. it is total disrespect to say to anyone 'you do not feel oppressed' when they tell you they do. that is fascism

It was a silly example, but once again you have missed the point. My point is that nobody knows what they were for. I dont think they are the ancient equivalent of porn - I was merely using it as an example of the fact that we have no way of knowing what they are.

Oh, and 'the Goddess' didn't turn up on the scene until the 20th century so they cant be statues of her.

OK, now you just don't know what you're talking about. Egypt had pornography three thousand no four thousand years ago. Fact. What, oh, you thought it was modern oppression of women? OK, now you need to grow up and look at the real world.

If I did everything on gut feeling/intuition, there would be a whole lotta dead people around me. People need to balance emotion with logic, something you seem incapable of doing.

Now for a little lesson in oppression: I could say I'm oppressed far more than you can ever: I was molested as a child, I was born into a terroristic sex-cult, my parents abused me physically and mentally, I was forced to take Prozac for an illness I never had (I feel the same as I always do, but my everlasting quest for peace and solitude was mistaken for depression), I went to jail, I went to boot camp, I fought the law and the law won, I am an orphan and had to support myself since I was yonug.

Yeah, take your little feelings about not taking drugs and the atmosphere depleting and shove it, literally. We all have to face this problem. We all live under the same roof. I am not oppressed. OPPRESSED is not a feeling, it is a status, it is the perfect passive participle of the word to oppress. It is not a feeling. Depressed is a feeling. If the world troubles are getting you down, go ahead and feel depressed about it. As for me, I am doing my part as an activist to fight the causes in which I believe in. What are you doing? Drugs?
