If these two very large impact craters would have generated huge volumes of dust and debris, how is it that nothing is mentioned in the 6000 year history advocated by Creationists? Something of this magnatude would surely have to have been mentioned, even if it wouldn't have wiped out most of the life on earth. How do they explain this away? |

I don't think we should be getting our hopes up yet about this crater. According to the BBC report, there are a lot of skeptics:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/3707023.stm I do think the presence of meteorite impacts in the geologic record (and therefore the few days noah was floating around in cretin world) neatly shows this 'science' for the nonsense it is. |
