OA, what a neg you are!!! I think this time Dave will face the discussion. See, he usually igores other people's posts if they're someone Dave thinks he's proved wrong in the past (which includes most scientists, and pretty much everyone else who is not an ID/YEC believer). However, CM is different in that Dave really likes him and has alot of respect for him. So he'll listen to CM. Trust me, I'z bin on da hevvy stuff!! |

Note: The poetry and finance were provided by AFDave. He claims that it is an accurate portrayal of the Theory of Evolution though you might note that it omits any mention of natural selection. I'll leave it up to you to decide on AFDave's definition of "accurate portrayal". Regards Spags

The evolution of Time-keeping http://physics.nist.gov/GenInt/Time/time.html There might be a better link to show how different parts became refined. But, technology while designed does certainly evolve. But mutation and natural selection works without the need to recreate. But, I'm sure if you looked at time-keeping very closely one would see how in isolation time-keeping evolved differently in different cultures. These same kind of evidences are present in geologic history and much more strict, because of hereditary necessity. The whole watchmaker analogy is just bad. |

Wow. Just wow. Along with that lovely animation, the whole website reeks of nonsense: Quote:
I wish there was more that could be done to stop people like Dave from promoting these terrible messages.

My, it's like a reunion of sorts. Where's the bar? A person can't tolerate a dose of Dave without some sort of anesthesia -- plus, the more neurons that die, the more he becomes comprehensible. |

As expected (at least by those of us who know him), Dave does not deal in any way, shape, or form the consilience of radiocarbon calibration curves in his most recent post. He still doesn't even seem to be aware that the argument exists.
