Sorry about the monitor, Calil. You should know better than to read these threads with a mouthful of coffee.
Always swallow your coffee before reading the new posts. Basic safety precaution. |

Fortunately only a metaphorical encounter MB me old chum.
The phrase "hello monitor, meet nose coffee" is a standard reference on several boards I know. Along with variants of the same. I'm surprised it isn't a fully fledged Internet meme by now. Speaking of being hung, Dave's just been given free advice in the Leakey thread from a practising solicitor. Turns out Leakey is still alive. Which means that since Dave has, in effect, accused Leakey by name of scientific malfeasance, he's treading perilously close to inviting real court action. Guess the mods won't have to prepare him for the turkey basting and stuffing exercise much longer - although I'm obviously not party to their deliberations, it doesn't take the rubbing together of too many functioning brain cells to conclude that they're warming up some seriously heavy poultry cooking artillery at the very least. While this is, of course, a personal speculation (and please can this be noted as such - thanks!) I'd say we're trundling along at a decent rate of knots toward the state involving the words "goose" and "cooked". |

Sorry for my absence in this thread -- there was a problem with a bridge near where I live.
So Dave, about this scientific conspiracy . . . . |

Wow. I have been away from IIDB for several months, logged in and read this ole fashion ass whuppin.
Great job Constant Mews. This goes down as one of the most one sided debates I have read here. |

As someone (ericmurphy?) noted, it was like watching Mike Tyson fight a five year old. The first punch knocked the poor kid's head clean off his body. :Cheeky:

Indeed. As debates go it was trivial to defeat Dave - he never once dealt with the basic argument, nor did he counter it with any tangential data. Had I been judging the debate, he would have forfeited for failing to respond to an argument.

Bump since I see Dave's online right now.
The question pending for you right now, Dave, is can you demonstrate that this scientific conspiracy exists, or do you admit the conscillience? |

Oh, afdave admits that we are correct. That's why he doesn't answer certain questions. Not answering questions is how afdave says "You are correct". It just hurts him too much to say the words out loud.
