At least with PMs or evidence we can see both sides of the story. There have been a few times here that I have complained and posted a Pm to "support" my claim, only to have others here tell me that the mod was right in their action.

We only have one story... Tas. We have heard the unofficial story of EBeth, but it was disregarded.

So, essentially, we are being asked to believe one side of the story. For all we know, tas could have done something completely different to be banned.

But, we don't know that, because he refuses to show any evidence... a pm, an email, a post for heaven's sake.

All of us have shown evidence to support our claims. Why can't he?

I wasn't referring to his entire history of appeals and banning, just the missing and possibly tampered with pm referrenced in #463

Tas, himself stated that over half the mods knew. http://www.iidb.org/vbb/showthread.p...56#post2645956

and again here...
http://www.iidb.org/vbb/showthread.p...56#post2645956

so, the ENTIRE staff were against Tas... including Erwin.... and there are no good mods on staff that took up for him?

I find that extremely hard to believe!

I am not questioning the tampering... I have no clue about that.. I am questioning his banning as a whole.

That's cool but it wasn't what I was referring to. Just to one specific event that, all things considered, I can't find incredulous.

again, I am not questioning the tampering incident.... since I don't know anything about the workings of the vb code, I can't comment on that.

Perhaps then you will have cause to complain about CF actions
do you want to try saying something relevant to my position?

you have not really defended the existance of forums like that at all. what possible good could come of the creationist only forum that outweighs all the bad stuff about it that I have outlined?

It's fun finding the CF desaparecidos. While doing a little background research, I ran across the profile of the legendary Josephus!

One of his buddies is somebody named cyo (a sock name, if I ever heard one) who has 36 total posts, but only 13 that exist, the most recent being April 2, 2002, but whose last activity was June 15, 2005.

Sounds like an interesting person.
