I'm apparently missing your (apparently) sarcastic point here. Are you saying that christian zealots who condemn to hell those who don't accept their literalistic beliefs - don't exist?

What non-conservative scholar has expressed "contempt" for the Jesus Seminar?

Donald Akenson - Saint Saul.

My understanding is that Burton Mack isn't their biggest fan, though he agrees with a fair amount of their conclusions.

A name and a book title don't establish that the individual has expressed "contempt" for the Jesus Seminar. Please provide the quote that supports your contention.

Are you confusing "contempt" with "disagreement"? Unless Mack has expressed contempt, he does not support your claim.

Hell, even the Christian Cadre (at least member "BK") agrees with me!:

"While Father Brown is not held in the same contempt as the Jesus Seminar by conservative scholars..."

It is fairly easy to disagree with the Jesus Seminar's methods or conclusions. Aken lampooned them, and made a point about how many members accepted Secret Mark, and challenged them to reject this obvious forgery. But he also rejected fundamentalist interpretations.

With pleasure. He devotes an appendix to how problematic the group is, primarily their questionable "bead-voting" method. (It is entitled "Winnie the Pooh and the Jesus Seminar") He also criticizes them for not being more "honest" about Secret Mark, and not noting their sources/authorities on the authenticity of the document.

And please look at my wording for Mack's position, as opposed to putting words in my mouth.

Do you disagree that conservative Christian scholars have held the Jesus Seminar with contempt or are you just trying to pick a non-existent nit?

That doesn't seem to me to reach the level of "contempt" and certainly not to the level I've seen expressed by conservative Christians. Is Akenson the only alleged example? You initially suggested more than one (ie scholars).

I suggest you reread both my original post to which you responded as well as this more recent one because you seem to be misinterpreting them. With regard to the latest, I'm not putting words into your mouth, I'm noting that Mack appears to be irrelevant to your claim since he cannot be considered as holding the Jesus Seminar in "contempt".
