Here's the text:

Luke 22:31-34:
31 "Simon, Simon, listen! Satan has demanded to sift all of you like wheat, 32 but I have prayed for you that your own faith may not fail; and you, when once you have turned back, strengthen your brothers." 33 And he said to him, "Lord, I am ready to go with you to prison and to death!" 34 Jesus said, "I tell you, Peter, the cock will not crow this day, until you have denied three times that you know me."
I guess I see this passage as a different case, because the prediction of Peter's denial is also contained in Mark 14 and Matthew 26, so Luke may have felt he had no choice but to include it. Luke softens the impact of Peter's denial, possibly because Peter is so prominent in the first half of Acts. Plus, I don't think that there is the tension here that there is in Matthew 16: going from being given the keys to the kingdom to being called Satan.

He lives inside me? Like Aliens? Will He come bursting out of my stomach?

I did think I had Jesus inside me, but a solid burp took care of Him. Did I let Him out and lose Him? Or was he there the night of cabbage....

Of course, an imaginary friend is with you all the time - where else will he go? It's not like he actually exists outside your head, so the only place he will be is in your head. Your "independent" source is pretty dependent on the culture you grew up in, and the myths you took in as a child.

Damn, now I can't get "What is Love" (Haddaway, IIRC) out of my head now.
