I wasn't. I was simply dealing with an argument as to why which relied on misunderstanding of Eusebius purposes elsewhere. Inowlocki argues that Eusebius was using the TF for reasons that had nothing to do with Jesus' messiahship, but rather in all references (Demonstratio included) his interest lay elsewhere. In the Demonstratio, Eusebius was, according to Inowlocki, using the TF to show that Jesus was popular or at least well-known outside of Christian circles.

However, whether she is right or not about this is, as I said, irrelevant. I was merely using her reference to the Acts of Pilate to explain to Maryhelena what the quote she was using from Hist. Eccl. actually meant. Didn't work, and neither have subsequent efforts, but what is one to do.
