Even some evangelical Christian geologists have said that a global flood did not occur, and have said that Christians who claim that a global flood occurred immediately chase off skeptics who know a lot about geology. If God caused a global flood to occur, you need to explain why he made certain that fossil and sediments were sorted in ways that are convenient to skeptics, and confusing to some Christians. Do you believe that the earth is young? The claim that God inspired and preserved the originals is utterly absurd. Unless you can adequately defend inerrancy, you do not have a valid basis for quoting the Bible. |
