What does any of this have to do with whether sex for fun is harmful or not, or whether not being allowed to have sex for fun was a factor in their survival (if that was actually the case)?

Only to the extent that they are not able to handle the aftermath of our recent sexual revolution that is imposed on them by us with the various artifacts that we have designed to help accomodate it. We 'think' we can handle it but are probably much worse off than they are but do not quite realize that just yet.

The things that are wrong with us are not the issue. If we are so more fucked up than they are, the missionaries should come home and help fix things here.

If they are going to help the african people, they should really help them and not just preach and try to convert them. If they really want to eradicate aids in africa, they should use all available means, including condoms and abstinence.

It doesn't matter where the disease came from at this point. It's there now, so the sole focus should be getting rid of it. If the welfare of the african people is really their concern.

But the Catholic missionaries have been there for hundreds of years. Things went wrong after protestant missionaries (Billy Grahamites) went there to reform the Catholic influence and that is what left them empty handed with a vengeance, as you an well imagine, that sought relief in promiscuity.

Catholic missionaries, protestant missionaries, it's all the same shit to me. If they simply help the people with no agenda, I respect them. If conversion is part of the gag, fuck them.

There is the problem. Catholics and protestants are opposite to each other. Catholics have no agenda because no Catholic is asked to accept JC as their personal savior and that is exactly why protestant missionaries follow the Catholics missionaries so they can do a 'hokus pokus' on them. Witchcraft is all it is, still today, and I'd say "fuck that noise" too.

That is what I have been trying to explain over the past few days. I've tried to give reasons why I don't think what I believe flies in the face of reason. Go ahead and read if you like. The real reason I believe, however, is that this is the direction my conscience pointed me in. And so far nothing has convinced me that I have made a mistake.

I ask myself sometimes what might have happened if I had been born in the Middle East to fanatically Muslim parents who taught me from the moment I came into this world that the Great Satan, the Little Satan, and all those degenrate Europeans needed to be destroyed, whatever the costs, before they destroyed me. I have to wonder if I might have strapped a bomb to myself and thrown myself at the Americans or the Israelis by now if my personality had developed the same way and I felt all the same impluses and inclinations. I consider myself very fortunate this was not put to the test. But, if that had happened, I can only hope that my conscience would have stopped me and turned me against an evil religion in which free will plays no role and women are treated like dogs. I was going to turn against Catholicism, but never could turn away completely, and my conscience eventually helped me understand the things that had not made sense before and brought me back.
