Am I supposed to believe this a clever justification for private belief? I'd rather have it in it's natural context; the path to salvation.

Saying there is no discussion about Jesus historicity is nothing but blatant scientific dishonesty. You can not via any honest scientific process reach that conclusion.

I agree with Roger, sometimes it's disturbing that it's the loudest most aggressive poster that is believed because of being that way, it would be nice if the logic of what people says is looked at first.
I do think on here there is a tendancy because of the nature of the forums to say "if he's skeptic or Atheists he can say no wrong". As a christian on here we are in the default position of wrong from the start but a crank can come on and say any old rubbish and be in the position of right straight away which is a little unfair. It would be nice to see once in a while another skeptic come on a thread and say I'm a skeptic too but what you are saying is a load of crapola :S. |

People who talk any old rubbish here will usually get their toes nailed to the floor. It doesn't matter what their perspective is. Quote:

I don't think there is a problem with the moderation here which is mostly IMO done well.
I have however noted over the past year or so a decline in the number of interesting, well thought out, well argued Original Posts (OPs), ie new threads, compared to the number of less interesting, muddled, badly argued OPs. The solution would seem to be for users to try and post more good OPs. Constraints on my time permitting, I shall attempt to contribute to this solution. Andrew Criddle |
