It's because of the feminists and our promiscuous society! The same ills that caused the September 11 attacks! Repent now, sinner! Give money to Pat Robertson!

Yeah, I learnt that the hard way. When I was younger, I had pet mice. One of the females gave birth, and several days later, and least 3 baby mice had been partially eaten. ICK!

Jesus, I go away for a week and when I get back he's still at it. <removed> IF I was going to take your opening post as a legitimate question, I would counter with 'hey men, have you sexually abused any children lately? cos it's mainly men who do that, ya know!'. But that would be giving credibility to your question, so I'll refrain.

Yeah my gerbils did that . Apparently they do it when they're stressed .. not fun.

Hmm that's one of my earliest memories, watching a gerbil eating its baby..

OG, I just read in another thread that you feel that noone is taking this thread seriously. Am I to assume then, that it WAS a serious question? <removed> If you were serious, and wanting to start a serious discussion, don't you think that it would have been better to present it with a title other than 'hey ladies have you drowned your kid lately?'? I mean come on, why should anyone take that seriously? I can't work out if you're deliberately trying to rile people or if you genuinely can't see that the way you phrase your questions pretty much guarantee that they are first moved to Elsewhere, then ridiculed, then locked. What, essentially, are you asking? And why cloak it in such a layer of hate and sexism?

Not that it matters all that much but why have I been edited when the offensively sexist (and i am not just saying that; I genuinely did find it offensive) OP has been left intact? I can't even remember what I said in the last post that might have merited moderation!!

Just who decides what gets moderated anyway, and how? No biggie, but I'd be interested to know.

IamMoose - if you have problems with the moderation of a specific thread, please start a thread in the Problems and Complaints Forum. This is not the appropriate place to air complaints about thread moderation. Also, if you believe that a particular post has broken the IIDB rules, please feel free to use "report post" button and a moderator or admin will take a look at the post.

hokay . I was thinking of doing that but it's just that the p and c forum always seemed to be for complaining specifically about moderation and I don't especially want to do that; just wanted an explanation.
