Charlie - you missed the question. If you're not answering with how mythicism explains apocalypticism, then you're not answering the question.

I gave you an answer. Twice. You don't get it, well you don't get it.

Apocalyptic nonsense was going to be part of Jesus mytholohy whether there was no Jesus at all and its a myth to the last detail or there was a phyiscal Jesus and most of this is based on distorted oral tradition later written down.

Israel and Judea were awash in apocalypticism, and its going to be hard to avoid whether you are Jesus of Nazareth, self proclaimed son of god and soon to be judge of mankind at the judgment day, or you were a gospel writer making up stuff based on the tantalizing rumor, a rumor of a son of God,who may or may not have even existed, who will soon judge all men on judgment day.

Really?! Why is this hard to understand!? My last post to you. Why waste our time asking questions when you can't deal with answers you get?
