The author of this Muslim nonsense writes 'Is it any wonder why scholars of the Dead Sea Scrolls claim that the figure referred to only as "the Liar" was Paul!' I'm certain that River will be able to confirm that the author has the faintest idea what he is talking about by naming these scholars of the Dead Sea Scrolls who claim "the Liar" was Paul, and producing evidence that they are right But until River produces confirmation that the Muslim author was not simply blowing hot air here, I must assume that it is all gibberish. |

<mod hat on>
Please keep the discussion focused on BCH, not other posters or the site in general. </mod hat off> The essay in question has a lot of problems with language, but does have an extensive discussion of the "swoon" theory, with more details than I have seen before (but I have not read much about this before). There also appears to be a mishmash of snippets of scholarship that are not always well digested. For example, Quote:

meso-american Jesus
After reading the article there is one thing that confused me.....okay we know that Jesus Christ (pbuh) traveled to Egypt, Persia, Tibet and India....But the author says that Jesus Christ also traveled to Meso-America!
I was wondering if anyone would have support and or an explanation for Jesus' trip to Meso-America? I find that a little bit difficult to envision. ---River |

It is much fairer to say that some people people have theorised that Jesus travelled to those places, but the majority of people are not convinced by these theories. Do you have any evidence to support these theories of Jesus travelling the world? |
