I'm flattered that you think I've been with lots of women, including bi women. Well, actually I have.
Anyway, my experience or interpretation is actually more complicated than your post. What I have observed is that, at least among the group "women who ever have a lesbian experience" there is every variation: Lesbians who go straight and never go back again, straight women who come out and never go back again, women who are straight, gay, bisexual at different times in their lives, etc., etc.
In all seriousness, I have known (in the biblical sense) several women who, for a signifant part of their adult lives, were heterosexual and never dreamt of or considered lesbianism, then tried it for some reason and found it worked for them and never went back to men. I even have an ex (I swear to God) who came out because her husband wanted a threesome with another woman, and she found she liked that much better. Straight men: Let this be a warning to you!
