Default Sorry 'bout that.

*** mod hat on ***

Should be mostly back to normal now. Sorry!

For the record, I nuked a fair number of posts that seemed to be inextricably linked to certain flamewar-ish stuff, I'm not planning to go back and track them all down. It's over now.

Thanks, it was getting bad.
But it is funny that he was saying "you people" (thinking atheists) when it was really a Christian that was doing the moderation/editing.
Life IS entertaining.

I think this was a bad mistake. He made sense. Something really should be done about Johnny. Did you see all those threads?

What? Haran didn't make any sense, what are you talking about?

He made a lot of sense. I was surprised at how people were jumping on him. What about Johnny? Did you see all those threads? Someone really ought to do something about that.

Johnny posts a lot of threads. Many of them get ignored quickly. Some of them turn out to be pretty interesting. Still, I don't think he's risen to the level of "spam".

This thread was started in reference to something like thirty posts in a row, nearly all of them violating at least one board rule directly as WELL as being spam.

I agree that Haran did have some interesting points and contributions. Unfortunately, he was not able to refrain from escalating from the sort of background noise of mild digs that we generally tolerate to open insults directed at specific users, which we are less tolerant of.

Did you understand why he did? It seemed pretty obvious from what he stated.

Johny's posts did, at least, all have content, and different content.

As opposed to Haran who simply posted the EXACT same INSULT to every thread.

I think you are seeing what you want to see in his participation here as opposed to what it really was. This is where going back and reading threads explains a lot. But if you are coming from the same religious view that Haran was and that is why you liked his posts then I doubt you'll want to see any other view.
