I saw a free Greek version that was coming out, but I did not see this one. I will check the site, but the problem comes with too many people trying to fix the Bible. Who will be Right?

It's beyond hope, really.

I used to prefer the orig. NIV when I was a Christian though.
It was the best combination of readable and reliable*, IMO.

* reliable meaning an accurate translation of the relevant known texts.

Yes. I will know more or less, when I take Greek and Hebrew. I will probably get a lot of information from the Jesus Seminar, but surprisingly Atheists have been supplying with a lot of information on the Bible. Something from Socrates," I know that I know nothing."
