This is a discussion board with a focus on religion. Perhaps you had not noticed this fact.

Bart Ehrman was once a fundamentalist Xtian. It was by asking such questions that he became the brilliant researcher and educator he is today.

Your questions are not difficult nor pertinent. Their vapidity reflects badly on your character.

Vapidity. . .vapidity. . .hmmmmm. . .. . . . . . . .ahhhh, there it is! Vapidity. . .seems synonymous with banal and insipid! Thanks for the word of the day!

Then, Magdlyn, you can tell us whether this reaction:
Quote:
Yes, pretty indecent!

Reasons Christians give for not reading their book?

"Too long."

"Too boring."

"I don't understand it."

Yet, they believe it.
is the reaction of an intelligent questioning serious person, someone with an interest in how religions work, and in culture and anthropology in general; or of someone else.

Eau contraire, (inspector) Clouseau,

All you have contributed thus far are jeers. I haven't seen a pertinent question yet from you, much less a difficult one.
