Maybe it is a Platonic fallacy to imagine that the Logos (i.e. logic, thought, etc) predate the world?

No, but that doesn't mean that Justin got it from John. He could have taken it from Philo. That was his point.

Justin equated the Logos with Jesus Christ. Where in Philo is the latter half of the equation?
