I'm even mocking him with my avatar right now.

StarJewel is a pretty amazing fellow given his past week on CF, he exemplifies the slogan (which is all it really is )

He went into some nonsense bout 7-Up being the un-cola, so maybe an empty 7-up bottle should be the un-icon. If he had been more civil, it would have been a good suggestion. Instead, he got madder. So, now I'm mocking him.

I also figure it will make a good symbol for what we're trying to express. If you roll your mouse over my avatar, it will say "the un-icon". If others start to adopt it, staff will notice and ask questions. I can then explain that it is a protest about the abuse surrounding icons.

I have decided the little things at CF are not icons. An icon (eikon) is an image that stands for something real.

The things at CF are only badges.

I keep thinking of other places and times where wearing badges was demanded.

* self-Godwinizes

*all die

* the embarrassment

What a wonderful human being. We all could stand to learn from him.
