And I forgot: what about the Raelians and their obsession (and Rael's) with cloning their guy (/himself)? If the Vatican and the Megachruches start cloning, are the other cults going to be able to do likewise? What then? ------------------------------ *With actual information added, will this thread be returning to the S&S form? |

In my few years on this planet I sometimes find myself preceded by someone else in the originality department.
Thanks for the kind consideration from all of you and the references even though I am serious about this and have been sitting on this idea for sometime from fear of copyright violations ... ![]() As for the <removed> who wanted to clone satan, Who would be the donor of the genes ? Have you found satan ? because I haven't ? And please don't take this into the cliched and boring and annoying and ridiculous Hitler realm (the boys from brazil reference is just plain annoying ; go read shelley's frankenstein Mr. Luddiet). We are trying to keep it positive and beneficial to all (christians get their dream) and the rest of us get to advance the sciences. Are you as a Christian or otherwise against the idea of cloning Jesus from the shroud of Turin? Think about my dear Christian fellow, maybe that is what the Bible means when it talks of the return? Cloning is something you could not have even grasped in the dark ages but now we know we can do it - and maybe that is how Christ will return to his people. What do you think? As for the non-christians on this board, please be respectful of these people and let them think about this seriously rather than make fun of their god etc. |

Second off: how are they going to get viable DNA from something around two-thousand years old, when they can't even obtain samples from Joseph Merrick from the 19th century? So no. I don't think "that is how Christ will return to his people" (are you really a secular humanist, like your profile says?) unless we go back in time and take a sample, and I don't think anyone else does either. |
