That is exactly what I was taught as a christian about that passage. He exposed their sins to them. They were scared, wondering how he could know what they had so carefully tried to hide.

I recall Scott Hahn saying the same thing on a CD series. I wasted so much money on that.

Hmm. JESUS was "pretending"...Thats Not a nice thing to do now is it...Rather decietful thing to do dont you think?
