You should tell 'm that Jesus died to set Christ free under the name of Bar-abbas.

It is the faith of Peter (his insight) that has to be elevated in Mark so it can be transfered to Rome.

He was only naked to identify the bare naked truth.

For what it is worth, the eldest son is the eldest son but the firstborn is the inner child that is reborn. It is wherein we are son of man after rebirth and will have a mother to take care of who is the woman that was taken from us when we first parted company and became rational beings with a mind of our own. She will be our heavenly mother because she holds the divine image in which we were created and conceived to say that she is our God-bearer that enables us to return to Eden whence we came as the non-rational animal man also with a mind of his own. Natuarally, this mind of our own was before we became rational beings and therefore is the mind of God that holds the Thousand Year Reign that is already in our midst but is not yet known to us until we are born of God wherefore this mother-to-be is betrothed wo us as bride of the lamb just waiting for us to return to the gate of paradise and there declare ourselves worthy to be received (Romans 10:10).

The young man in Mark is the son of man identity that here is identified and separated from Judaism whereunder it was conceiled. The temple precinct passage shows that Judaism has been brought to understanding wherein it served as the antagonist (the lie) inside mind of Jesus-the-man now fully exposed as man. Knowledge frees, we can say here, and so the old Jew can now be crucified.

In which case the resurrected Jesus is the young man? that might fit with Mark 16:5 (As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side)--he obviously got his robe back!

That also gives an interesting twist to the short ending. The young man assumes his--for Mark not unusual--aspect of the trickster, and tells the women it is not him (I am not who I am), and that the real one went to, of all places, Galilee of the Gentiles. And please make sure to tell this especially to that dimwit Peter! The women then of course take off in total confusion.

I am not a theologian but does it not say 'water and spirit' with water being the subconscious and spirit being the conscious mind? This is where the old archaic phrase "Involutional Melancholia" refers to the persistence of this melancholy that originates in the subconscuous mind as if it is an inner yearning to seek peace of mind = faith in the heart and confession from the mouth.

And on the right side of the tomb to say that the tomb was the mind of Joseph and here now the right side of his mind. Let's put it another way: if we are ark builders we better be tomb hewers as well for we will need one of those if we get to the others side of life.

If he had known unstructured space was a deluge

and stocked his life-houseboat with all of the animals

. . . even the wolves, he might have floated.

But obstinate he stated: the land is solid and stamped!

. . . watching his foot sink down through stone up to the knee.

Without religion Mark becomes a trickster because the events are real (which is where I hold that myth is real and we are the illusion). These women were resident of the conscious mind and need the light of common day so see and what they expected to see was not there.

Have you heard the song about the Grandson of God?

"And they call him the streak,
he's so proud of his physique.
Gonna give us a peek...":devil1:
