TBT: If you know what the scientific method is, and then link to something that claims to use it (but actually doesn't) to support your beliefs, then will your god forgive you for lying?

Oh, wow...I just have to wonder how that writer can keep a straight face. Little things stick out...like how the sun is revealed twice, how you still have the problem of a water-covered young earth (quite the opposite - every model I've ever seen has all land that eventually gets rained on), and the messed-up order of evolution (plants and trees, THEN sea-life and BIRDS, then land dwellers). I also notice that according to your apologist, aquatic mammals came before land animals, where the fossil record clearly shows they came FROM land animals. One might also note that he doesn't try to move into chapter 2 and the differring order of the whole mess found there.
All in all...the whole thing is assorted hand-waving and distortions, start to finish. |

I can dispute that "reasoning," TBT. It's the same old hogwash in the same old trough: the order of appearance of stuff is just plain wrong! No amount of weaselword apologetic crap can change that - sorry.

I'm sorry to disappoint, but the Bible is just plain wrong in regards to the origins of life, the universe, and everything. No amount of reconciliation is going to make the Bible agree with modern science. For instance, the Bible states that birds came before the land animals. It does not matter how long a 'yom' is; science shows that birds evolved from terrestrial theropods (dinosaurs) during the Jurassic period. There are many other examples of scientifically inacurate assertions in the Bible, but I don't feel like listing them all. The others on this forum would be happy to do so. |

Please give a secular source that coincides with your version of cosmology. (creationism) If you can do that, I will promise to consider your points. See, the thing is, I can give Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Hindu, etc.. sources for my version. C'mon, let's see if you will answer the challenge. - Refused, who's just asking for it |

Too accurate, maybe. In fact, it's so accurate, that its STIIIIIIIIIL being discussed in scientific circles and on internet message boards as Earth enters the 21st Century. It's got to tell you something about Genesis! |
