I get the feeling that this has been discussed before so apologies if it has.

If there is a heaven/hell, does anyone know what the consensus is among christians about how we would exist once we go there? By this I mean do we exist the way we were when we died. If you are 80 years old when you die, do you exist as an 80 year old and if you are a 3 month old baby when you die, is that how you exist?

What about a baby who didn't make it out of the womb? A friend of ours recently miscarried at seven months. According to anti-abortion christians, this was definately a human being. This child had absolutely no life experience. What is the christian view of his life in heaven? Does he get invested with a fake life experience, and if so, how is this compatible with free will? What is this supposed "perfect body" like? Does it have wings, or can we fly without them? Will only flaws be corrected, or will we have anything we want - for instance, is God willing to give bald men hair, but unwilling to change a woman's hair color from brown to burgundy? Will the perfect bodies have genitals? Will they have any internal organs? If so, which organs will they possess and why?

Will we be able to use those sexual organs? Is not sexual activity inherently inappropriate for heaven? What about the severally mentally retarded? Do they, like the seven month old, receive a contrived personality?

Damn it, Occam's Razor is the only rational explanation for these questions. All of these people mentioned die and cease to exist. No questions there!

With first wings and then a pecking order, the occupants of heaven sound like a flock of chickens.

Still, that shouldn't surprise me. After all, the favorite word of televangelists here on earth is "buck, buck, buck".
