Really? I guess when one of the crucified thieves spoke a few words to Jesus, he didn't actually get into heaven after all. Poor guy.

Another G1/G2 contradiction: was humanity created God-like?

G1: Yes
Quote:
26 Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground."
So God created man in his own image,
in the image of God he created him;
male and female he created them.
-- Genesis 1:26-27 (NIV)
G2: No
Quote:
"You will not surely die," the serpent said to the woman. "For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil."
-- Genesis 3:4-5, NIV
Which only goes to show that they are very different creation stories.

1. Because I was dead for a couple of minutes 14 years ago and he had his chance to show himself then. He didn't, someone else popped up who I'd never even heard of or seen before.

2. NT is based off of stories that had already been told for centuries before. In otherwords, nothing original.

3. Apparently we beat his ass so bad the first time around that he has decided not to show up since then. Honestly, I can't blame him. The end of the 14th century mirrored Revelations almost exactly and nothing happened.

God missed his cue call. He was out back, having a smoke. So now he has to wait till the chorus comes around to his part again.

Dang, I should be a theist. I can make this stuff up in no time, especially when I don't have to worry about what I said yesterday or what I will say tomorrow.

I did?

You must be deluded.

Show me where.

I always said to prove first that God exists in reality, before making claims of reality in God's name.

Scientists submit a theory, and search for reality to prove or disprove it.

If proved, they claim the new theory as real.

Scientists are right.

You don't submit God, you make claims of reality in God's name, like if God was ever proved to be real in world's nature.

(I can show you where, but I already interjected to show where)

You are wrong.

Nah.

Exodus didn't happen.

(I have archaeological references about Exodus not happening)

Genesis didn't happen.

The miraculous Jesus Christ from the Bible, is inexistent in history.

And many more examples.

Bible = myth, not history.

Personally, in the field of myths, not of reality, I prefer the Greek mythology over the Bible.

But that's just me...

What are the biggest excuses?

or do you NOW mean "what are the biggest REASONS."

I would state that REASON is the REASON for the season. . .or something like that

All it goes to show is you have no clue what its actually referring to. How again does you not understanding make it a contradiction?
