There is all of Christianity in my story. Anything added to that is superfluous.

The question of just what makes one a christian comes up occasionally. The typical answer usually includes one who subscribes to the Nicene Creed. That has been the standard since the 4th century CE. By that criterion, you are not a christian. In the old days, you would be in just as much danger of being burned at the stake for heresy as the most hard-core atheist.

Actually I have very little against the Nicene creed. It might even be correct.

But ------whatever some committee of very fallible, politically influenced, men happened to decide for themselves and, in their arrogance, decide for everyone about Christianity some 300 years after the fact has little or nothing to do with being a Christian.

A Christian is quite simply someone who believes that Jesus was God come to earth and was resurrected. Simple as that. Reduce the whole thing to its commonest denonimator and that is all that is really left. Anyone who believes that basic part of Christianity IS a Christian.

Of course anyone can call me not a Christian if they so choose. Does not make it so. Anymore than me calling someone a warthog makes that so.

In my not so humble opinion.

Hang on a minute. That makes no sense.
People are calling you 'NOT a warthog' because you don't have tusks, or bristles, or a curly tail, or four cloven feet.

You are saying you are a warthog because you saw the movie Babe and enjoyed it.

Then when people complain about warthogs you say Warthogs aren't like that. I'm a warthog and we hogs like to wear three piece suits.

That hardly furthers the discussion of actual warthogs.

Have to admit you pretty much overwhelmed me with your warthog argument.
