				 | The OT & Qu'ran illustrated (comic style)

A while back I remember a topic @ IIDB suggesting that someone take all the nonsense & inhumanity (well, a selective sample of it) from the Old Testament & make a humorous/ comic strip type book about it. (I tried to find the topic using 'search' but failed...) Anyway, yesterday I found this: http://www.secularism.org.uk/shop.html?eshopid=64986, published by the National Secular Society in the UK, which I thought I'd flag up for people as it seems to pretty much perfectly fit the bill. Also, entirely co-incidentally, today I found an online comic strip illustration of passages from the Qu'ran, which you can read here: http://www.faithfreedom.org/comics/comics.htm. (The style reminds me a little of Asterix cartoons, anyway it's very funny & cleverly done, IMO). Hope the links work..... |
