but I have never seen a christian banned from an atheist forum.
nah, we've had a few, but usually for just being a flaming asshole, not for any religious reasons. But then, we've had more atheists banned than theists, from what I can tell, also for generally being flaming assholes.

Maybe they ban for extra spaces/punctuation abuse.

Well I guess I meant to say I never saw an atheist board ban a theist because he had a strong opposing view hehe

On most Christian boards as soon as I start asking questions about screwed up quotes from the bible or serious questions about the existence of god I start getting flamed and eventually banned.

I think I got banned before not because of what I said but because others started flaming me for it and it was easer to ban me then ban all them =/ Don't want to band good Christians...

thats really sad .

I really don't see at all how that's a flame... You didn't attack the guy you just told him to stop generalizing things. If anything the guy you replied to was more offensive than anything you have said. He was attacking a group of people saying that all of them are such and such. What’s discrimination of beliefs/thoughts called?

I've seen plenty of Christians banned from CF. Not sure what your point is, unless you're just indulging in an atheist martyr complex.

I think we're all just amused that CF is so restrictive, that's all

They've apparently got a really low tolerance of atheists who stick up for their beliefs and non-mainstream Christians too.

I find that funny, and in a way, very telling

I think it is rather interesting to see the number of topics where non-theists are talking about going to a forum to make trouble, deconvert people or see how long they can last there... as well as a number of topics where non-theists complain about being banned.

I am not surprised that many non-theists get banned on CF and other Christian forums with the attitude that many here present towards general theism. Even more interesting is how some of them turn around and play the holier-than-thou routine and act as though they got banned because they were just too overwhelming for the theists to handle intellectually.

I am sure people get banned due to bias all over the place, it is just part of human nature. However, I am certain a good many people banned at CF deserved it.

I'm sure you're right. But it's very hard for me to see how this particular OP could be ban-worthy.

Note that you generally don't get banned for a single post, but rather, for accumulating warnings; so, there were probably two other posts, at least, involved.
