Paraphrasing an old friend of mine: "Yes, Christ is real. Buddha is real. Vishnu is real. Why are you so worried?"

If so, I hope they are Super Best Friends.

If nothing else, the correlation of Jesus to the 'jelous god' (by definition:asura) Jahve, the brother of Baal is unclear. Helping some spiritual tradition that then promulgates bloodshed and ethnic cleansing of neighbour tribes (see: Canaanites, etc), is prolly NOT good karma.
I would be very reluctant to tantrify western traditions although in grimoires such as the Sworn Book of Honorius there are litanies of the saints, invocations to the Virgin and rituals which allegedly result in the "beautific vision".

Christians won't touch it with a barge pole however, because it involves standing in a magic circle with robes on, candles, incense and ritual equipment, chanting in funny old languages and of course, as every Christian knows, this is all dreadfully satanic.

Waning Moon Conrad, I know you are aware of what chanting in funny old Eastern languages means. In modern English also, the meaning is just as beautiful. It is known as a translation.

Christianity is not particularly semitic - that was the whole point of it (the dietary restrictions are dropped in favor of occasional vegetarianism (not including fish) as in lent or one day a week. Circumcision is not prescribed. It is sort of a reform cult like Buddhism vis-a-vis Hinduism. Then again most aspects of Christianity are present in analogous form in the Krishna cult. Just about the only unique fact in Christianity is its focus on death and resurrection. And the main feature it shares with the semitic faiths (again mainly Islam, not Judaism) is the apocalypse and judgement day. The notion of God as a judge is very semitic to me, as Hinduism prefers to think of God as either an impersonal brahman or a personal friend.

Far from it, we are having great fun. Vishnu, I know, is not real, He is a social construct, though 'Brahman' (universal substrate) is real.
