Rigorist, I thought the term "esquire" was superfluous. About as superfluous as adding "I could PWN you guys in a verbal debate" is while trying to inquire about what was unacceptable about his ban. Not to mention James Randi had told him in a previous letter that he wouldn't interfere in forum matters.

But who am I to steal the show? Let's let Riddick show us what he's made of. It'll make for some interesting debates. That is, if he's going to do more than whine about being banned from JREF.

To paraphrase from a favorite TV program (which probably stole it from somewhere else): Could it be that you were banned not because JREF has a secret agenda against you but because you were being a colossal jerk?

That bit about Riddick bench-pressing piques my interest. We used to have a poster around here who used to talk about that all the time. Speaking of bans, I think he is banned from here now. I'm sure he and Riddick aren't the same. But why the obsession with telling people how much they can bench press?

Thanks, BioBeing. I had signed up about a month ago because of the interesting posts I'd see in Fundies Say the Darndest Things, but things have been crazy of late. When things quiet down in real life, I might be participating here more often.

After his posts about being banned from JREF at my usual board, I thought I'd drop some information which would avoid redundant questions, because I suspected the same drama would unfold here as it did there.

Now, about the bragging about physical strength, I think it would be trying to keep the insults in line because you wouldn't want to meet him in a dark alley, so you'll have to be respectful, but I suppose I shouldn't jump to conclusions.

Riddick, what is the point about mentioning your forearms as a means of "setting your capability?"
