Earl,

as I said, it seems important for them to save face so the easy way out is to let them do that and just comply to the format they already set up. You keep the content but you change the order as they list. Only the composition. It doesn't change your ideas.

Write in line with their requirements. The ideas you have are worth that they get a fair hearing and this is a way to let them do that. You have all to win and have nothing to loose by doing it.

Assuming that by "them", you mean the members of the JP, what specifically is it that indicates this to you?

My message was to Earl, it would only be confusing if I started a debate with you on what I write addressed to him.

Either he get what I try to say to him or he just find me stepping over some boundary and he would just ignore my text or he see what I try to tell him and make his own mind on it and respond in a way that let both participant save face.

To explain it would be to destroy the logic of the text. It is not supposed to be criticised it is supposed to be acted upon or just ignored. It is not a debate text
it is a text with the intent to allow both parties to save face.

To ask if any need to save face is to see the text from wrong perspective.

I will not explain further than that and will not accept PM on it either cause there is nothing mysterious or something to understand in it. It is a perspective I express.

It is more like "Go for it! Write the text they can accept but keep your views just do it in a formatting they can handle without loosing faith. "

Earl just confused the icon for the message with the wink inside the message. It's excusable for someone who does not live online as some of us do.

The wink is a semicolon followed directly by a close parenthesis

; ) without the space =

I Think its interesting that Carrier places Doherty's level of scholarship above that of Price and Zindler in his latest blog entry. He places Murdoch (Archaya) in the lower rungs.

I think its a vindication of Doherty's scholarship. I am interested in knowing whether Doherty would be interested in attending and delivering a paper. It has been said that he (Doherty) is camera shy and all. Would he attend?

By not excluding the fringe, I think that sort of makes it a fringe magnet.
