Faith is a blast. Faith allows you to bypass those annoying little neurons that keep responding with logical negatives when you really want to believe something is true. I had a lot of trouble with faith because it kept getting in the way of how I wanted things to be.

If you also have trouble with faith, try this experiment. Pretend that electrons are really little angels! That way every time you turn on the light, it’s not really boring electrical resistance and photons and such, it’s really angels saying let there be light! After a while you’ll forget how absurd it is and you can begin to have Faith.

What if the bible is not a fairy-tale and god really is insane! What if he really doesn’t have the first clue about things like morality or justice? What if he really doesn’t know the difference between right and wrong? Then most of the people who have ever lived are frying in hell right now! 99% of us alive right now, are going to get tossed into the old pit of fire. Do you think it’s worth it to piss off this insane god-king of the after life just because you can’t pretend that you believe in the bible?

I’m going to stop writing now; I forgot that the little angels that run my computer might also be little snitches. Anyway, you got to practice faith. Start small.
