@Chris Weimer:

Greetings friend,

Since I view religion as tool of self-development and tranformation, I would like to ask you the following question:

What can the followers of your philosophy do that normal people are unable to do? In other words, does your religion grant its followers any special abilities?

If we could tone it down, it is ignorance and time that we do away with it.

It grants guidelines and a path for peace, but I do realize that there are other ways.

I mean if they knew better, like you and me, they would have abandoned the practice. Like we did with animal sacrifices or untouchability.

Have you decided on if Dignism is an Open Source or Trademarketed thingy? eg only for you to decide on the make up and definition of D.? when will you set up a homepage for Dignism with it's own forum? (I use my mobile so text maybe crypticly short) Fred

 Just a suggestion. Maybe do as two others have in this forum. Pagan FAQ thread, Hindu FAQ Thread, so start new thread here as Dignism FAQ Thread cause this thread are too long and the subject doesn't seem to work? Maybe FAQ says it better? More easy to relate to? Give it a try. Fred

I'm surprised that so few participate in this Dignism thread. I mean from my perspective, subjective point of view, I like Dignism much better than Buddhism, Christian faith, Hinduism, Asatru, NewAge and all the rest. Naturalism/Materialism is even better but tainted by Marx and all the other Communist politic rhetoric that it seems impossible to use.

Maybe it need a repacking from a materialistic pov? Sadly me not able to do such descriptions.

Buddhists and Hindus are satisfied with their religion, therefore feel no need to explore a new religion.

wordy - I'm no communist, but I like communistic ideals. Probably more concisely, I'm against "Big Communism" or statewide sponsored communism enforced by a dictatorial party or tyrant.
