I've noticed that a considerable number of Christian and conservative websites such as the New American or Cutting Edge Ministries purport a relationship between the United Nations and Theosophy which they tend to label as "New Age" beliefs and that they in conjunction are trying to bring about a "New World Order" of sorts under the Antichrist. Most evidence these people cite is the creation of the United Religions Initiative and the the activities of UNESCO being seen as brianwashing American school children into being "world citizens" as well as other activities of the UN. My guess is that the reason for this is that the two are said to be as working in consort because the United Nations and Theosophical beliefs fit into their end of the world schemes nicely, given that they may view the UN as a world government and that Theosophy holds that all religions are to some degree true. So, what do you fellow infidels think about the supposed connection between the United Nations and Theosophy?

Well, it turns out that some Theosophical groups have NGO and consulting status at the United Nations. So, does this mean the Christians have some here with the whole "New World Order," thing?
