I kept getting lost trying to find the OCA church near me but I did manage to make it to a Antiochian Liturgy three times.

There's a Greek one fairly close but I was told that the OCA or Antiochian churches were more open to visitors.

Something else that this thread managed to achieve is friendship.
Some mods that I thought were terrible mean very bad people turned out to be quite nice.

It was through these threads that they turned into human beings to me. That would never have been allowed to happen on CF.

I was wondering if you were looking into Orthodoxy after I noticed you posting regularly at the Taverna. There's an Antiochian church not too far from me in fact (been meaning to check it out). The Greek churches are open, its just that the congregation is mostly immigrants (Greece, Cyprus, Turkey, Russia, etc.)... at least here anyway. They prefer Liturgy in their native tongue, where as American Orthies usually prefer it in Engish, which is mainly spoken in the Antiochian churches.
