Default come in, let me teach you

a rather unusual montage for me here, in that i try aim for a bit of depth. yes, i've turned into a shoddy sage who was so unable to think up something wise to say, i had to cinsult the pages of the Bible to supply the 'wise'

what an unexpected comment there, christ-on-a-stick

this recent little flurry of montage activity (comprising Cocoa Custard, Nutjob (one with the beak), Plant 2 and Timeless Wisdom), have been largely terrible. Certainly these last two have shown a lack of care, effort and/or cohesion (even within their own weird internal logic). If i were to pick a winner I'd chose 'Nutjob.' I got an overall favourable reaction

this 'wisdom' montage is really just a collection of random shots of which the best is last (i'd even dare to say there is some artistic merit in that one)

Has anyone ever told you that you look like Dougal from Father Ted (especially in the last pic):

Exclamation Moving thread to GRD

Since this new montage is serious, and therefore not funny, it does not belong in Humor. Therefore I am moving it to GRD.

Congratulations on a serious thread, elderberry!

LOL! Well, your little joke worked on me.

Luckily, for once, I read all the way to the end of the thread before I decided to post.

How odd that I have never even heard of this elderberry character. The only two forums I frequrent are GRD and EoG, with a very occasional step into BC&H. I keep forgetting there are actually lots of other forums, that are actually larger (like politics).

Oh man, the things you've missed.

elderberry, once again, great montage. I had been wondering if you would do a serious one. Hope to see more in the future, but don't forget to express your comic side as well!

I gotta say (and I'm serious) this montage reminds me of post-1979 Godard films.

:notworthy

to be honest, i never really did it as an outright serious thread, i mean, it's hard to take a montage seriously! but i'm happy to think you think it's erious.

yes, many, many people comment on the likeness.

montages interlock three interests i have: using the digital camera i have, playing around in image manipulation software and putting on a 'show'. while i never really sought to make a serious montage, i'm content that it has been perceived as a more reflective, sober piece.

queenofswords, the bunny has been consumed!!!!!!!!

see you next montage!
