Hey now, the King James Version has some very grand language, powerful in its archaic formalism.

But ya, as a novel, no publisher would touch it. It's just plain dull.

Yes the language is very, very nice and quotable like Shakespeare. Some parts of the bible also go a bit like a surrealist Bob Dylan song, except they are not as singable and even more scatty.
